Material Tracker

The material tracker reads your equipment inventory from screenshots. Post as many as it takes to cover the whole list, and the bot merges them into one card showing every material and chest you hold, split by type and rarity.

Set up onDiscord
  1. Open your bag in Rise of Kingdoms and go to the Equipment tab.
  2. Screenshot it. Scroll down and screenshot again, as many times as it takes. Phone and PC both work.
  3. Post them in the tracker channel, together or one after another.

The bot waits a few seconds after your last image, then replies with a single card.

Every item keeps its own last reading. A scan only updates what it can see. If you photograph your chests and nothing else, your Ore and Leather stay on the card at the numbers your last scan read them at, greyed out to show they are not from this one. So you never have to re-photograph the whole list to correct one row.

Spending something is not the same as not photographing it. The game stops drawing a material once you hold none of it, so an item that vanishes from your bag looks exactly like one your screenshot did not reach. The bot tells them apart by what it can prove it saw.

Materials are grouped by tier in the game, all the Epics together and so on. If a whole tier’s group is on screen with other tiles above and below it, everything of that tier you own was in the picture. Anything the bot held for that tier and cannot find has been spent, and the card drops it to zero instead of carrying the old figure. The reply says which ones.

Outside a group the bot could see all of, the old number is kept and greyed out, because a missing item there proves nothing.

Overlapping screenshots are fine. If the same item shows up in two of your screenshots it counts once, not twice. That is the normal case, since the inventory scrolls.

Up to 5 screenshots per scan.

Post all three kinds at once and you get one card, not three. The bot reads every screenshot, stores every set of numbers, then replies once with whichever card read the most. A line above it says what the others read, and the menu under it switches to them. Nothing is lost, it is just one message instead of three.

There are two cards, and the menu under yours switches between them. The simple one is the default.

Two headline figures, then one tile per material and both chests.

  • Sum Material and Excluding Bone, the same two figures the full card carries, with the change since your last scan
  • A bar showing each material’s share of your stash
  • Per tile: the roll-up in Legendaries, how fast it is growing, and the change since your last scan

The growth figure is Legendaries gained per day, measured from your oldest scan to your newest. It answers whether the badge above it was a normal week or a good one. It needs at least a day between scans, and hides itself when the figure is tiny, so a material you barely touch shows nothing rather than zeroes.

  • The chart

It answers “am I close to forging anything” without asking you to add up a table. If you want the exact figure for one rarity, that is the other card.

A grid: one row per material, one column per rarity.

  • Iron Ore, Leather, Ebony and Bone, each with its running total
  • Choice Chest and Random Chest on their own rows. Both open into a material of their own rarity, so neither can be counted as ore or leather without guessing
  • Every rarity from Common through Legendary, colour-coded the way the game does it
  • A green or red pill beside each count, showing the change since your last scan
  • A NEW tag on any tile the tracker has never held before
  • Greyed-out counts, which are figures carried over from an earlier scan rather than read just now
  • A dash where no scan has ever seen that item, which is different from a zero

Total Legendary rolls each row up the crafting chain. Four of a tier make one of the next, all the way up, so a Legendary is worth 256 Commons. That column answers the question you actually forge against: how many Legendaries could I make out of this row.

Under the grid are two totals in the same unit:

  • Sum Material adds up all four materials plus both chests.
  • Excluding Bone does the same without Bone.

Bone gets its own figure because most players have far more of it than anything else, so it hides whether the other three can actually build something. Chests count toward both, since one always opens into a material of its own rarity.

A chart underneath plots the same figure per material over your last scans, so you can see which one you are actually short of.

Only the four materials and the two chests are counted. Equipment chests, wooden chests, blueprint fragments and everything else in that tab are left out.

If a tile cannot be identified at all, it is left out rather than guessed into a bucket, and the reply says so. A wrong number in the right-looking place is worse than a missing one, because nobody can see that it is wrong.

One dropdown, four things:

  • Always DM my cards hides your cards from the channel and deletes the screenshots that fed the scan. Pick it again to go back to posting publicly. It is the same setting your speedup and armament cards use, so it moves all three.
  • Show the advanced view / Show the simple view redraws the card in front of you and remembers it for next time.
  • Search past scans lists your last 25 with the date and time of each. Pick one and it is drawn again, exactly as it was: the chart shows only the scans that existed back then, not everything since. Only you can see it.
  • Delete a past scan is there for a reading that came out wrong. Same list, but the scan you pick is shown to you first, with the card drawn out in full, and nothing happens until you press Delete it.

Only the member the card belongs to can use the menu.

Deleting your most recent scan rolls your card back to the one before it. That is the one to reach for when the bot misread a number a minute ago.

Deleting an older scan only removes it from your history and chart. Your current figures do not change, because a later scan already replaced them. The confirmation tells you which of the two you are about to do, so you never have to guess.

Deleting is permanent. There is no undo, and the bot does not keep a copy.

Your card uses the same accent colour and background as your /xp rank card and your speedup card. Set it once with /tracker customize and all three match.

Use /tracker card to bring the card up again later without posting another screenshot, and to switch between your speedup, material and armament cards from one menu.

Run /tracker settings. One panel covers all three trackers, speedups, materials and armaments:

  • Material Tracker: ON / OFF - the switch. Nothing is read while it is off.
  • Tracker channel - the channel members post screenshots in. Choose a quiet, dedicated one. Every tracker reads it.
  • Move the guides down now - forces the how-to messages back to the bottom.

Two steps, in that order. Pick the channel, then switch the tracker on. Setting the channel does not switch anything on by itself, so a tracker you deliberately left off stays off. The guide is posted the moment a tracker is on with a channel set.

The bot needs Send Messages, Attach Files and Embed Links there, and the panel tells you if any are missing.

One channel feeds every tracker. Each has its own on/off switch, and turning one on does nothing to the others, but they all read the channel you pick: the bot works out which screen a screenshot is before anything is charged for it. There is one channel setting and no way to give a tracker its own. A server set up before this, with a channel each, keeps working until an admin picks the tracker channel, which brings them together.

Your materials, speedups and armaments belong to your Discord account, not to a server. Scan in one alliance and the same figures are there when you post a card in another, because your stash did not change just because you switched Discords. That means one history, one set of totals, and one place to correct a bad reading.

It also means your scan allowance is one allowance. Four material scans a day covers everywhere you use the bot, not four per server.

Your DM setting works the same way. Hiding your cards hides them everywhere, so there is no server you can forget to switch.

When you switch the tracker on, the bot posts a short how-to in the channel and keeps it at the bottom, re-posting once the channel goes quiet so the instructions are always the last thing people see.

The guide carries a picture of the screen it is asking for. With more than one tracker on the channel, that picture is a single labelled sheet showing every screen the trackers read, so nobody has to guess which of them their screenshot counts as.

It only appears while the tracker is on.

  • Each member gets 4 scans a day with about 15 minutes between them, and up to 5 screenshots per scan.
  • Each server has a daily scan limit, generous enough that a normal alliance will never reach it.
  • Reading a screenshot costs money, which is why this is a Patron feature and why the limits exist. One scan of five screenshots costs five times one of a single image, so the per-scan cap matters.
  • The bot only reads images, and only in the tracker channel.
  • If two screenshots disagree about the same item, the higher count is kept and the reply tells you. A tile cut off at the edge of the screen can read low.
