Mail Templates

Writing the same alliance mail over and over gets old fast. Mail Templates let you build a mail once on the Codex Helper website, save it to your Discord account, and then pull it back up inside any server with a single command. The bot posts the template as a tidy card with a Copy for Mobile button, so anyone (including you on your phone) can grab the text and paste it straight into Rise of Kingdoms.

How it works

Mail Templates work in two halves: you create and save templates on the website, and you load them in Discord.

1. Build it on the website. Open the Alliance Mail Generator, write your mail, and save it to your account. Each saved template gets a name so you can find it again later. Your templates are tied to your Discord login, so they follow you into every server the bot is in.
2. Open your list in Discord. Run /mail list. You get a private overview of every template you have saved, with a dropdown menu underneath it.
3. Pick a template from the menu. Choose one and the bot posts its card to the channel: the template’s code, its character count, and two buttons.
4. Copy and paste in-game. Click Copy for Mobile and the bot sends you the raw template text privately, ready to copy into the game’s mail box. This works for every member who can see the card, not just you.

The card the bot posts stays interactive even after the bot restarts, so older template posts keep working in your channels.

Manage your templates on the web

Creating, editing, renaming, and saving templates all happen on the Mail Generator. Discord is just where you load and share them. The only management action available from Discord is deleting a template (see the Delete Template button below).

Commands

/mail list

Shows all of your saved mail templates privately (only you see the reply), with a dropdown menu to load any of them into the channel.

This command takes no options. The reply shows each template’s name, the date you saved it, and when you last loaded it. If you have more than 23 templates, the dropdown itself contains ◀ Previous Page and ▶ Next Page entries that flip through them, 23 at a time. If you have not saved any templates yet, the bot shows a button that links straight to the Mail Generator so you can make your first one.

/mail list

Picking a template from the dropdown posts its card to the channel. The card includes:

• Copy for Mobile - sends you the full template text privately so you can copy and paste it into Rise of Kingdoms. Anyone who can see the card can use this button to get their own private copy.
• Delete Template - permanently deletes the template from your account after a confirmation prompt. Only the person who owns the template can delete it.

You can keep picking templates from the same menu to post more than one. The menu stays active for 10 minutes; after that, just run /mail list again.

Deleting is permanent

The Delete Template button removes the template from your account for good. There is no undo. If you only want to tweak the wording, edit it on the Mail Generator instead.

Where did /mail load go?

Older versions had a separate /mail load command. Loading now lives inside /mail list: open the list, pick from the dropdown, done. Cards that were already posted with the old command keep working.
